The PMP Exam fee includes exam fee, membership fee and PMP study guide. If you are a member of PMI Institute, you will need to pay $405 for the Exam fee, $139 for the annual membership and $139 to purchase PMP Question Bank.
The Exam fee and 35-hour fee are the largest components of the cost. As you can see in the above chart, they account for the majority of the total cost. Depending on the type of PMP training course you choose and the provider you choose, you may be able to save 35 contact hours. Although you can reduce the Resources cost, it won’t make much difference. The Resources cost includes any PMP question bank, PMP study guide, or PMP practice exam you may require for a proper training.
35 Hours of Contact Hour Courses
For PMP Certification Exam preparation, you can attend a face to face physical classroom session. This is called a PMP Boot Camp. Online options are cheaper than boot camps, which can be quite expensive. Online PMP boot camps are more flexible and affordable. An online PMP course offers a ‘anytime anywhere’ option with either a monthly subscription or lifetime access. The monthly subscription courses are available for as low as $40, while the annual subscription is available for as low at $200.
Time Investment for PMP Benefits
You must be ready to dedicate your time and money to PMP Benefits. PMP Exam Prep requires dedicated time on a regular basis. You should be able to dedicate 12-16 weeks to PMP certification exam preparation. You should create a PMP study schedule that you can follow and make sure that you dedicate at least half an hour to preparation each day.
