Cisco recently added two new certifications to its Service Provider Mobility Specialist portfolio. These are the Service Provider Mobility Specialist certifications: Cisco Service Provider Mobility CDMA-to-LTE Specialist and Cisco Service Provider Mobility UMT to LTE Specialist.
These credentials, like other Service Provider Mobility Specialist certifications validate a candidate’s knowledge and skills to implement components, technologies and architectures found in UMTS and CDMA. They allow candidates to migrate from a UMTS/CDMA infrastructure to an LTE evolving packet system.
Cisco Service Provider Mobility CDMA-to-LTE Specialist
Cisco claims that the new Service Provider Mobility CDMA-to-LTE Specialist certification validates a Service Provider Network Engineer’s knowledge and skills to understand technologies, components and architectures found in Code Division Multiple Access packet core networks. This includes the migration to Long Term Evolution (LTE), Evolved Packet Systems, (EPS), and radio access networks.

Cisco Service Provider Mobility LTE to UMTS Specialist
The Cisco Service Provider Mobility UMTS-to LTE Specialist certification validates a Service Provider Network Engineer’s knowledge and skills to understand technologies, components and architectures that are found within Universal Mobile Telecommunications System. This includes the migration to Long Term Evolution (LTE), Evolved Packet Systems, (EPS), and radio access networks.
